I am someone who loves adventures either here or overseas. For instance, I spent 2 years in Japan working in Tourism and mastering the language. I had a ball. On the other hand, I work with refugees and help them master my own language.
As a primary school teacher it gives me great joy to see how I can impact on children's self-esteem and general growth.
I'm the kind of Christian who has a rather irreverent sense of humour. Having said that, I do appreciate people whose faith is also important to them.
Scuba diving connects with another world that I find deeply relaxing and at the same time energizing. Depending on the season, I either enjoy watching the footy or cricket. I love visits to wineries, exploring antique stalls and going on picnics. My broad taste in music, movies and books means that I am able to relate well on these subjects with a variety of people.
I am very motivated to achieve what I set out to conquer and a sense of humour has carried me through some serious personal and life-changing challenges in my adult life. This has given me perspective and led me to reconsider what is important in life and allowed me to laugh at situations I sometimes find myself in.
