Creating a Good First Impression

I can't emphasise enough the importance of the first impression. You only ever get one chance to create a good first impression. If you meet an elegantly dressed man in a business suit in an office and see the same man 3 days later in a track suit and unshaven you think that executive is on his day off.

Whereas if you see a man for the first time needing a shave and wearing a tracksuit in the office and 3 days later see him dressed elegantly in a suit you are more inclined to think the hobo is wearing a suit today.

It's important to feel good about yourself and feel confident. A woman wants to look up to you and she will if you exude confidence.

Be prepared, you never know when you will meet Miss Right. How will you attract her if you don't look the part? Therefore you must look single.

How does a single guy look? A single guy looks good when he goes to the market. He doesn't go out unshaven and wear daggy jeans on Saturday mornings, he looks his best always so that when he sees a woman he wants to talk to he feels confident that he looks good.

Women may assume you are married if you are wearing your oldest tracky suit. At the gym, or on your running track, it's important to look good in gear that suits you.

A single guy is in good condition. If you have gained a few excess pounds now, whilst on the journey to finding your lifelong partner, is the most important time in your life to be looking your best.

Women want to feel protected by a man. If you are so unfit you look as though you couldn't protect her, watch out she may escape from your clutches.

A woman does not want to end up a nurse maid for her man so make sure you eat healthily and exercise. Is your alcohol intake reasonably moderate?

Workaholics, make the time to shower before you meet. Don't take your ex or your latest problems to the meetings - leave those subjects behind totally.

She wants a guy who can make a success of a relationship. Show her that you enjoy your life - you have good friends, a warm family, a good job and a relaxed home environment – the type of life that she would like to be part of.
