Is a Valentine's Card the Right Way to Begin a Romance?
At Entre Nous we believe not. If a man has been secretly admiring a woman and decides this is the opportunity to convey his feelings it may backfire if the woman hasn't given him a thought.
His card may come as a surprise and not always the most pleasant surprise.
One of our members wanted to book out the Fish Bowl at the aquarium to take a woman to dinner on their first meeting. An impressive but expensive first date. I asked several women what they thought of this idea. Most loved it. I then asked them what did they think of going there on a first date. Most said they would be mortified to be treated to such splendour with someone they did not know and did not yet have any feelings for.
On the other hand it is better to make friends in the hope that a romance will develop from the friendship. Once the romance has developed most women would love to be entertained with such style.
