Case Study - Treating a Woman Like a Purchase
Treating a Woman Like a Purchase
Russell was very tall, handsome, well dressed, intelligent, a specialist doctor with a quiet charm. He treated finding a woman like a business.
He had many specific superficial needs that had to be met. He checked each woman out thoroughly, asked many personal questions of each one as though he was conducting a job interview.
Although he looked good, the woman were put off by his manner. If the women were not attracted to Russell, he blamed Entre Nous for poor matching.
At his review we referred to the member's guide book that stated, 'don't focus on the end result, enjoy the journey'. We told him, "It's your job to prove to us that you can be popular.
If everyone likes you, you will have the choice of all the women we introduce to you." His reply: "I don't need any new friends, I have friends I haven't time to waste on women that are not suitable."
Russell didn't get it. At his next review I told him that there are two types of people that come to Entre Nous, The Collector and The Eliminator. I explained that The Eliminator, says no not her, not her, not her, aha I like that one but that one won't be interested in him because she can see that he is only out for himself.
On the other hand The Collector is pleasant to everyone and accepts people for who they are. He is popular and has the choice of everyone to whom he is introduced.
During Russell's second membership, he met a beautiful redhead and they formed a relationship that lasted for a few months. When the redhead ended it she said that Russell was just too self centred, she was hoping that he would improve but he never did.
Russell referred one of his workmates to Entre Nous. The workmate told me confidentially that Russell was a problem colleague, he was just too self focussed to be a good member of the team and this held him back in his job.
Russell is still a member of Entre Nous. He has had umpteen memberships and is living proof that there are some people one just can't break through the barrier to help them achieve the success that they really want.
