Online Dating is Dangerous by Ildi Amon

An Australian expert on the dating industry has issued another warning about the risks of trying to find a partner online.

Ms Rosalind Baker, a Melbourne author and Principal of the long established Entre Nous Introduction Service, says online dating is unregulated and poses many risks to females as well as males.

'A 50 year old separated woman told me she had a series of photos air-brushed to be used for online dating.' 'The photos were extremely successful, making her look 25 years' younger. Not surprisingly she received more than 150 replies.'

'But if appearance and youthfulness were the key factors, then her male callers would eventually have felt let-down,' she said.

Ms Baker said of course some people were successful in finding a partner online but there are hidden dangers with male predators trawling online.

'Obviously I have my own barrow to push but an introduction service, such as Entre Nous introduction agency, ensures the dating process is much more selective and safe. 'We screen our clients to eradicate risks and dangers for both men and women.
